Welcome to the Montgomery Creek Elementary School
Our school is fortunate to be located in the beautiful mountains east of Redding, California. We fish, hunt, hike and play in one of our state's richest areas for outdoor recreation. Students at our school enjoy the latest technology with every one having his or her own chromebook. Sports at Montgomery Creek includes Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. We serve students from Pre-School to 8th grade. Our local families enjoy many programs and events here including The Harvest Carnival, Christmas Pageant, Cinco de Mayo Celebration and numerous dances. This last year we added Talent Show Night and Karaoke Night. We love our volunteers and thank them for their ongoing support. If you like clean air, honest people and a wholesome environment then you'll like our school. Our after-school program (SHARE) is so popular it usually hosts 70% of the kids each day. The robotics program in SHARE is well known in our area and has produced many winners at competitions in Redding. The food in the cafeteria is based on scratch recipes such as quiche, BBQ chicken and a full turkey dinner for the community at Thanksgiving. The curriculum is the latest California State Standards based and we feature STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) projects. Our teachers and staff all live locally and are truly devoted to kids. I am particularly proud of our school, I used to teach here, now I'm the Superintendent/Principal.

Parents and guardians may now access and view your student's account in our PowerSchool Student Information System. The information contained in the PowerSchool Student Information System includes attendance records, grades, class assignments, lunch balances, and more. If you would like to create an account to access your student's information, please email contact the school office. Upon receipt of your request a user name and temporary password will be created and sent to you by email. The first time you login you will be asked to create a new password.
